For this assignment I created an interactive display for the Sonsbeek Foundation, inspired by the deer statue on Willemsplein in Arnhem. The design featured a deer-like drawer with built-in NFC tags, allowing users to engage with digital content. Blue tones were used to evoke calmness and trust, reflecting the atmosphere of the piece.

About the display:
The display is made of wood, with the backboard and headboard being identical to each other. A construction made of tile battens was built between these two panels to support the drawers. The screw holes were filled with wood filler, after which the entire frame was painted white. I accented the deer head with a blue color and gave it a gradient effect. The drawer knobs were individually laser-cut and painted. Each drawer contains an NFC tag; when you scan this tag, you will be redirected to the Sonsbeek website to read more about that specific year
